PHILANTHROPY

Passion for Philanthropy: The foundation of Allyson’s work is her interest in empowering people and organizations to build vital communities. Her professional, volunteer, and mission work in the United States and abroad reflect her passion to enable people to make informed decisions about their giving and ability to serve others.

Experience: A member of the executive team at CCS, Allyson has worked on campaign planning and execution across institutions in the arts, education, community revitalization, culture, and healthcare. Her most recent project was a $10M endowment campaign for Cincinnati Country Day School (Cincinnati, OH), where the campaign reached 50% of its goal in the first four months.  Prior to that, Allyson developed a fundraising infrastructure and major gifts program for My Brother’s Keeper Alliance, an initiative launched and supported by President Barack Obama.

Other major projects include complex campaign management for multiple partners. For a $40M campaign for the Jewish Community Foundation (Hartford, CT), Allyson guided a community of 26 nonprofit organizations (including 3 day schools, 13 synagogues, and 10 non-profit agencies) to create customized blueprints for their fundraising work.

Allyson’s campaign experience also includes driving a $250 million comprehensive campaign for Georgia Regents University (Augusta, GA). She also completed campaign planning studies for the Medical College of Wisconsin (Milwaukee, WI) and Arkansas Children’s Hospital (Springdale, AR).  Allyson’s additional projects include campaigns, feasibility studies, and development assessments for: the Mann Center for the Performing Arts, Winston Salem State University, the University of Florida, the Appalachian Trail Conservancy, the Music Conservatory of Westchester, and Blessing Hospital.
